This does not, however, apply to corporations. Only the government. So a corporation can do whatever they want to silence their critics. So in order to silence this critic, they took away my livelihood. That’s the way it works in America. It ain’t so free. But you can say whatever you want if you’re willing to accept the consequences. I am. I was right and I will fight for what is right. Randy Sierra stood in front of the entire office on Wednesday July 16th at 4:15 pm and told us that no one was going to lose their jobs. Then he took two days off. The Great Communicator that he is, he didn’t tell anyone he was off for two days. This is important because our checks were ordered on Thursday the 17th, meaning while that little turd sat in that meeting and told us that no one was getting let go, HR was processing my paperwork. That’s the quality of individual who is left at the Bloodless Empire. Here is a guy who put down on the office calendar that he was out on “Appointments” all day on April 20th. The truth was that he was going with some of the other sales guys to a cabin and playing golf. He didn’t change it to PTO until he was caught in a bald faced lie in front of the assistants. That’s the quality of guy that is at the Bloodless Empire now. He’s playing golf and laying people off because “business has declined”. Asshat.
They are currently moving all residential title officers out of their individual counties and to a “centralized” office in Castro Valley. Six are going, there are a lot more than six on staff. The residential side of the 12th floor is like a ghost town and the NCS side is right behind it. They’re closing down that site, mark my words. They’ll lie and reassure and bullshit until their heart’s delight, but that’s all it is…bullshit. The fat lady’s going to be singing on the 12th floor in San Francisco, very soon.
The hits just keep on coming
When I drove off to catch BART yesterday, I noticed that the rear tire of my truck was parked a little cattywhompus on the curb. Kind of up but not so that the tire was about three or four inches off the ground kind of suspended in air. So I went out to get it off of the curb last night. It should have been a simple task. I started by just releasing the clutch and the parking brake to see if it would roll down and it wouldn’t. So I started it up, gave it a little gas and thump! It bounced off of the curb and my foot, which was gently releasing the clutch, slipped off of the clutch and the truck lurched forward. In spite of my immediate effort to hit the brake only, with the clutch engaged it fought me. It fought me until it slammed into my neighbor’s travel trailer and stalled. Perfect ending to a perfect day. Oh yeah, my deductible is $500.
